Venture Bank Chairman Nominated for Treasurer of the
Independent Community Bankers of America

 

Olympia, Wash., February 8, 2006 - The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) announced its new slate of executive officers nominated for election by the association’s Board of Directors in March.

 

Among the 2006-2007 officer nominees is Venture Bank (Lacey, Wa) Chairman, Ken F. Parsons, Sr. Parsons has been selected to be Treasurer of this national organization.

 

“The Executive Committee is responsible for recommending and carrying out policies that directly affect the nation's over 8,000 community banks" said David Hayes, Chairman of the ICBA.

 

Parsons is one of the founders of Venture Bank in 1979 and has served as the Chairman since 1998. Ken has also served as Chairman and a member of the Board of the Washington Independent Community Banker’s Association.
