Fab Four “Beetles” a Driving Force for Venture Bank
DUPONT, WA - Ready to meet the Beetles?
Venture Bank is betting the Beetles will catch your eye this year, thanks to a year-long sponsorship that features the bank’s logo on four eye-catching and identical Volkswagen Bugs, popularly known as VW Beetles.
The Beetles, known individually as John, Paul, George and Ringo, are the promotional brainstorm of KBSG 97.3 Radio in Seattle. KBSG, through Campbell Nelson Volkswagen and Venture Bank, brings the cars to public events, fairs, and business Grand Openings, such as the June 1 Venture Bank Grand Opening of its new Hawks Prairie Financial Center, at 8308 Quinault Drive, in Lacey.
The cars, painted bright yellow with “Meet the Beetles” in red decal along the back and sides, have proven popular with old and young admirers alike, having recently “toured” at the Emerald Queen Casino, Northwest Folklife Festival, and the Lacey Spring Fun Fair.
Venture Bank has “beat the drum” for the cause of rock n’ roll before, backing a petition effort two years ago to enshrine the Ventures, a Seattle/Tacoma-area band from the 1960s, into Cleveland’s Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
KBSG’s cute and quirky cars can be seen at the Venture Bank Hawks Prairie Grand Opening during the bank’s special barbecue celebration on Friday, June 1. The public is invited to attend, with prizes being given away (Grand Prize is a chance to win $25,000 in cash) and fresh, hot barbecue being served by Ramblin’ Jack’s Restaurant between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and again from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Venture Financial Group, through its wholly owned subsidiary Venture Bank, has over $1 billion in assets with 18 financial centers in four western Washington counties. Venture Bank offers a full spectrum of financial services, including business loans, commercial, construction, residential and consumer loans, deposit products, and other banking services. The bank also provides a broad range of investment services through its wholly owned subsidiary, Venture Wealth Management, Inc. Further information can be found at www.venture-bank.com.
