Venture Bank Provides Support to Military Family March
Olympia, Wash., July 27, 2006 -
Military families seeking new homes in Lacey’s premier Horizon Pointe development are being welcomed in a unique way by Venture Bank.
Venture Bank has pledged to make a $100 donation to support the Fourth Annual Hawks Prairie Rotary Military Family Support March for every mortgage loan closed through Venture Bank Mortgage Services with any active or retired military personnel moving into Horizon Pointe.
Encompassing hundreds of acres buffered by lush woods and containing several quaint “pocket parks,” Horizon Pointe makes a perfect match for military families with husbands or wives stationed at nearby Fort Lewis or McChord Air Force Base. It is one of the largest and newest developments in Lacey, which has long maintained a strong military family-oriented community.
“The concept of ‘home’ is special to everyone, and especially vital to a young military family who may have just arrived here from another part of the world,” says David L. Cherry, senior vice president and mortgage manager at Venture Bank Mortgage Services.
