E-MAIL PHISHING SCAM: BE ALERT!

Venture Bank customers have been targeted by a phishing scam. The phony e-mail asks the recipient to "ensure you are fully protected and safe" by clicking a link to a fraudulent web page that resembles our online banking sign on page. The intent is that our customers will enter their online banking ID and PIN, and click the "Update" button, thereby sending their online access information to those responsible for the scam.

The illegitimate web page displays the Address as: "http://fedelzet.hu/www.venture-bank.com/venture-bank/secure-update/" This is NOT a valid Venture Bank web address.

If you receive an e-mail similar to the description above, please DO NOT enter your online banking ID and PIN! Remember, Venture Bank will NEVER phone you or send an e-mail requesting confidential information. If you receive such a request, contact us immediately at 1-888-373-BANK (1-888-373-2265).

If you believe you have been a victim of this phishing scam:

• contact your financial institution to verify the authenticity of the correspondence.
• go to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) website and Click 'File a Complaint' under the Consumer Protection tab.
